Amel Zen is a multilingual singer/songwriter and composer from Algeria. She started her career in 2007. She was semi-finalist of the Algerian popular TV Show "Alhan Wa Chabab" (Algerian version of X Factor). In 2013, she released her first album, a mixture of pop/rock and Algerian folk Chaabi Music. In 2015, she released "Tlata". In 2020, she released "Joussour" which aims to be a bridge between different world cultures.
Amel Zen represents the North African culture and identity through her Music. In 2021, she has been selected to participate in the International Artistic Residency in Paris, France. Her Music success caught the attention of international media, including the American TV channel CNN, the French TV channels (TV5/France 24) and the German Goethe Institute website that promotes her Music
